Big City

Hi everyone! Yesterday two of my friends (Casie and Travis) and I went to San Jose, the capital (in case you didn't know). It was an easy bus ride, only about an hour, and it cost less than $2 to get there. It is a really big and noisy city, with a lot to do and see. Since yesterday was Sunday, there were a lot of people out and about. We wandered around the downtown area, and there are pedestrian only zones with a lot of shops and restaurants. We saw a couple of enormous and beautiful churches, the national theater (pictured below), and we went to the National Museum of Costa Rica. It was a busy day, and I was glad to head back to San Ramon.
